An article is a web page contained within a wiki that has information on a particular topic. It is the basic building block of a wiki. Articles link to other articles, external web pages, images, sounds, or anything else on the World Wide Web. The term "article" is understood to be a specific type of web page: a page contained within a wiki and containing information pertinent to that wiki.
